City Protocol Task Force

The main objective of the City Protocol Society (CPS) is the development of the "City Protocol (CP)," understood as a system to rationalize, under a shared basis, city transformation, captured in the form of a series of agreement documents and standards that will guide and accelerate the responsible transformation of cities for the benefit of all urban communities worldwide. The CPS governance and operational principles are described in the CPS By-Laws.

The Anatomy of City Habitat is the foundation and the common working ground where to develop the CP. The Anatomy is meant to encompass structure, society, and data, with the following eight Thematic Areas (TAs): Environment, Infrastructure, Built Domain, Public Space, Functions, People, Information Flows and Performance.

The City Protocol Task Force is the open community of individuals, organized in Task And Finish Teams (TAFT), who volunteer to carry out together research and development, education, collaboration, and other activities necessary to develop the City Protocol as a series of City Protocol Agreements (CPA), i.e., technical or methodological documents that could lead to standards. All CPTF activities are non-commercial.More information: CPOD-06_Task Force and Task-And-Finish-Teams.pdf
