TASK TEAMS > Data Interoperability and City Indicators
Dici aims at creating data interoperability protocols to enable transparent and smart data sharing among cities and citizens and to develop city indicators based on the common framework provided by the City Anatomy.
The objectives of the charter are to:
- Identify initiatives that are suitable to describe city data with the purpose of facilitate data sharing and reuse, e.g., Data Catalogue Vocabulary (DCAT) and Asset Description Metadata Schema (ADMS). Catalogs of metadata for New York City, Chicago, Barcelona, etc., will be screened to identify a minimum set of (information) "CPS city data," consistent with ancha, to assure integration/interoperability across cities (and sources).
- Propose a CPS city data (CPS data catalog) and a common vocabulary (ontology) for the city anatomy (ancha) with the purpose to measure (indicators) and to enable transversal city data analytics.
- Produce a list of indicators to guide and help city transformation projects by measuring the different areas of the ancha model (City Evaluation Framework). This framework should be with ISO 37120 standard. Developed at two levels: 1) Minimum set of indicators available for all cities 2) Extended set available for sectorial analysis (optional adoption).
